The Serbian startup Boostowski has won the contest of innovative companies from Europe within the Spark.me conference, which was held this year for the seventh time at the Tivat Marina “Porto Montenegro” under the slogan “Business Meets Digital Innovation”, announced the Chamber of Commerce of Serbia.

The Boostowski startup, founded by the company, the digital studio 30 Hills and Biljana Zdrale, a sales consultant, won the award for its app meant for upgrading the operations of retail chains.

As the CCIS announced, as the winner of the contest held last weekend, Boostowski is one of the startups that will represent Europe at the world tournament TechCrunch Disrupt in San Francisco, from October 2 through 4.

The president of the CCIS, Marko Cadez, said that this was a great success of our startup and an excellent example of connecting the economy with the IT sector, which the CCIS is especially dedicated to.

– I am convinced that here, as in the world, large companies especially will turn more and more toward innovation startups, turning to them to solve problems in everyday operations and to support development, invest their capital in startups' innovative ideas and upgrade all the segments of its organization and operations – Cadez says.

TC Disrupt is one of the most famous global conferences where innovative startups from all over the world present their ideas and solutions. It is every IT entrepreneur's dream to participate in this contest.

World-renowned companies like Dropbox, Trello or Yammer once took part in this conference as startups.

– The winning app enables retail companies to increase the efficiency of their operations by monitoring results in real time, reducing costs and making the sellers more motivated – says the director of ICT Hub 30 Hills, Djordje Filipovic. He explains that the app monitors daily goals, sales results in real time and provides an overview of training courses based on individual results.

– Upgrading the sellers' education and reducing training costs directly influences the company's success – Filipovic adds.

This time, he says, the initiative originated with Biljana Zdrale, a sales consultant whose years of experience allowed her to recognize the problems that retail chains face often, and 30 Hills prepared the digital transformation strategy from which Boostowski grew.
