By the end of May next year, Tivat is about to solve one of its multi decade problems – the lack of adequate bus station.
At the location of the existing temporary bus stop at Zupa, Bijelo Polje-based Mesopromet-Franca
will build a modern bus station on a gross area of 2,1 thousand square meters. The mayor of
Tivat, Ivan Novosel, and GM at Mesopromet,
Hilmia Franca, signed the contract on mutual investment.
The municipality invests a lot of 95000 square meters at Zupa in the mutual
project and enables an investor not to pay for utility services while
Mesopromet will pour more than EUR 5,5 mil in the construction of the entire
complex which, apart from a bus station, comprises construction of a shopping
center on almost 3 thousand square meters and a four-star hotel on 2.500 m2. Mesopromet
is building a shopping mall and a hotel
for its own needs.
