Grand Hotel receives first guests after fire - EUR 20 million worth of modernization of MK complex at Kopaonik

MK Mountain Resort will be completely renovated for the forthcoming ski season and ready for guests. The total value of an investment in the modernization of the largest tourist complex at Mount Kopaonik will reach about EUR 20 million by the year's end. The reconstruction of Grand Hotel and the suite complex Konaci Deluxe is in its final phase, and Grand Hotel has already received its first guests after the fire, MK Resort said in a release.

- Arrangements for the next winter season are selling very successfully. There is only a small number of rooms still available under special conditions for early booking with a 15 percent discount - said Nikola Avram, director of MK Mountain Resort, adding that all works on Grand Hotel would be completed by end-October.

All restaurants, reception desk, aperitif bar and the western wing of the hotel are completely renovated, and so is the wellness and spa center. The outdoor swimming pool and the hot tub are now connected with the indoor swimming pool, like in modern European spa centers.

Guests staying in Konaci Deluxe suites will pay up to 50 percent less for all additional services at MK Mountain Resort if they buy an animation card. There are five animation cards in the offer, each for a different set of services available at extremely affordable prices to families with children, as well as to young users whose priorities are sports and having fun at the ski resort. Also, guests get a 10 percent discount on all bookings at Konaci Deluxe suite complex until October 10th, reads the release issued by MK Mountain Resort.
