The City of Novi Sad has opened a non-binding public invitation for letters of interest with a proposal of a legal framework for an investment in the Radnicki Univerzitet building at 7 Vojvodjanskih Brigada in Novi Sad. The facility consists of a 14-floor building of a total area of around 6,687 m2 and city-owned building land of 6 ares and 24 square meters.

– The City of Novi Sad invites all interested local or foreign legal entities to send non-binding written bids with a proposal of a legal framework for an investment in the Radnicki Univerzitet facility. The intention of the City of Novi Sad is to bring one of the proposed investment frameworks to purpose through the facility, in line with the planning document – the invitation says.

Let us remind that the Radnicki Univerzitet building was destroyed in a fire in 2000 and has since never been fully reconstructed. As one of the documents previously adopted by the city assembly shows, the building “is not used by the owners and the users and is a blemish on the cityscape of Novi Sad”.

In 2018, the city became the owner of the facility.
