Serbia makes progress according to Global Real Estate Transparency Index

According to the 2018 Global Real Estate Transparency Index, Serbia is one of the ten countries of the world that have made the most progress on the list, the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure announced.

Serbia's score on the list is 3.11, which places it 47th on the list of 100 countries, behind Slovenia (44th) and Croatia (46th) and ahead of Bulgaria, who took the 49th place.

– Among the ten countries that have made the biggest progress in the 2016-2018 period, Serbia is fifth. Aside from Slovakia, it is the only European country in this category – the ministry announced.

Of the total of seven categories measured by the index, Serbia was best rated in the fields of “transaction process” (1.9) and “regulatory and legal framework” (2).

Of the 100 countries on the list of one of the biggest world companies in the field of real estate, Jones Lang LaSalle, Great Britain took the first spot with a score of 1.24.
