Serbian Finance Minister Sinisa Mali signed an agreement on the construction of the Industrial Park of Friendship in Borca with the Chinese company CRBC in Beijing on September 17. The park will bring Serbia an investment of a total of EUR 2 billion.
In his statement for Tanjug following the signing of the agreement, Mali said that it was another important agreement for Serbia.

To the left of Pupin's Bridge, a huge industrial park will be raised on 320 hectares in the next couple of years, a park which should attract over 1,000 Chinese companies. The calculations we made with CRBC, the company which will invest in the park, say that this will create nearly 10,000 new jobs.
This will be the biggest Chinese industrial park in Europe.
It will be located in Belgrade, Serbia, so that all companies coming to Europe from
China would come here, he explained.
Mali said that CRBC would invest around EUR 220 million in the Industrial Park of Friendship, and, taking into consideration all the companies which will arrive, the total investment will amount to around EUR 2 billion.
The minister pointed out that he was very satisfied and that what remained to be done now was to define the exact number of companies and which companies would come in the next months, whereas the government was to start investing in the infrastructure, while the Chinese should start building factories one by one.
Let us remind that the
construction of the new Port of Belgrade next to Pupin's Bridge has also been announced.
