The commission for the procedure of the selection of a partner for the reconstruction and management of the PE Centar Sava facilities has reached the decision saying that the offer of Delta Holding is to be rejected as incomplete, but that negotiations will continue, said Deputy Mayor of Belgrade Goran Vesic.

– At the same time, the commission recommended to the City Assembly of Belgrade to start negotiating directly with Delta Holding, as they were the only bidder that took part in the procedure and the laws envisage such a possibility – Vesic said, as reported in the press release.

He said that the City of Belgrade accepted the commission’s suggestion and that it will initiate direct negotiations with the sole bidder, Delta Holding, based on the offer sent by the company.

– We thank Delta for sending its offer and taking part in the process. In the negotiations, we will be protecting the interests of the City of Belgrade and fight to secure the conditions for Sava Centar to be reconstructed and developed – he said.

As he added, if the negotiations are successful, the contract will be put before the members of the city parliament, who will decide whether to adopt it or not.

– If the negotiations are not successful, we will notify the public on what the City of Belgrade will do in order for Sava Centar to be reconstructed and operational – Vesic added.
