The Detailed Regulation Plan for a part of New Belgrade's Block 20, where
Delta Holding intends to raise a skyscraper and a business hotel, is up for public review.
Delta Holding, which commissioned the preparation of this plan, planned the construction of a 36-floor, 144-m facility called Delta Tower on this 2.6-ha plot of land in the Milentija Popovica Street eight years ago.
This area, the plan says, is located in the southwestern section of New Belgrade's Block 20, in close proximity to representative commercial facilities such as Sava Centar, Hotel Crowne Plaza, Genex apartments, Savograd and Hotel Hyatt.
However, the most important commercial point of orientation along the street is the 110-m Usce Business Center in Block 16.
The plan says that facilities of up to 44.2 meters of height, with no more than 14 floors, including the ground floor and the loft, may be built in this so-called mixed city center location.
Regarding the planned capacities, the construction of around 100,000 square meters of gross building area is planned. This would increase the gross building area in the location from the current 17,000 m2 by an additional 80,000 m2 to a total of 97,000 square meters.
