The Danube area has gained a new shopping place with today's opening of Shoppi Retail Park in Smederevo. The facility was officially opened by Mayor Jasna Avramovic and the director of MPC Properties.

The third Shoppi Retail Park takes up over 9,000 square meters, and all the stores are accessible from the central parking lot, which features 200 parking spaces. The construction of the second half of the center is expected to continue in April 2018.

– Shoppi Retail Park Smederevo has been built in as short amount of time as possible. Over the course of six months, we have gone from laying down the foundation stone to the official opening. We are especially glad to be able to say today that Shoppi Retail Park has been leased in full, that it is characterized by a great offer of bands, which confirms its importance and business potential for this part of the city – Villadsen said.

He added that this was an investment worthy of attention, both financially and from the angle of the development of the local community.

– I thank the mayor of Smederevo, as well as all city administration institutions, for their remarkable cooperation and support given in the process of acquiring the necessary permits. This is the third Shoppi Retail Park we've opened in the past two years, and we intend to further expand the network in Serbia – he pointed out.

Visitors will be provided with a varied selection of renowned regional and international brands, among which are H&M, New Yorker, Deichmann, LC Waikiki, Sport Vision and many others.

This is another important investment in MPC Properties' portfolio, in addition to the Usce Shopping Center, the Usce Tower, Shoppi Retail Park Subotica, Shoppi Retail Park Borca, Immo Outlet Center, Navigator Business Center and many other retail and office facilities. Leasing management and facility management have been put in charge of Confluence Property Management.

The first Shoppi Retail Park opened in Subotica in March 2016, followed by the one in Borca in October 2016.
