Construction of indoor swimming pool complex in Kragujevac in 2010 - investment larger than 8m EUR

City of Kragujevac will get the indoor swimming pool complex at 7,600 square meters prior to March 2010. The city authorities set aside over 8m EUR for that project.

The contractor is Belgrade-based company "Partner inženjering", while the project has been elaborated by Prof. Dr Petar Arsić.

This complex will be situated next ot the existing outdoor swimming pools in Big Park where the tennis center of company "Family sport", owned by the Đoković family, will also be built.

According to the project, the complex will have three levels - basement, ground floor and first floor. Two swimming pools will be situated on the ground floor - larger for waterpolo players and swimmers (33x25x2.1 meters) and smaller for children and non-swimmers (16.66x12 meters). Indoor swimming pools will be built of concrete, while the roof will be made of steel.

The complex will also include wellness and fitness centers, bawling room and coffee shops.
