Mid-November Sheraton to open hotel in Novi Sad - MK is planning to expand hotel business in Montenegro and Croatia

A famous chain of luxury hotels, Sheraton, is coming to Serbia, and it will open its first hotel in November in Novi Sad in Bulevar Evrope, in a building owned by businessman Miodrag Kostic – it was confirmed on Tuesday from MK Group to Novosti.After successful cooperation with the Kempinski hotel chain, MK Group has started cooperation with the famous Sheraton Hotel brand, which is part of Marriot International.The company says that the opening of the Sheraton - Novi Sad hotel, located at the corner of FutoSki put and Bulevar Evrope, is expected in mid-November and adds that with this move they continue their strategic objective of being the leading hotel company in the field of tourism in the region.- Apart from this hotel, hotel business expansion in Montenegro and Croatia is also in the pipeline. With this move, MK Group confirms plans for further expansion of business in the field of tourism and banking – it was said in the company of Kostic.At the end of last year Kostic bought a building where Sheraton will be located from November, from Vojislav Gajic, the owner of Alexandar gradnja. Gajić invested about EUR 11 m in it, planned to open the Holiday Inn hotel, but these negotiations failed. It is a building that extends to a total of 8,500 square meters.
