The Ambassador of USA to Belgrade, Cameron Manter, and Executive Manager of "Konsing group", Zdenko Lekan, opened the new business building of American-Serbian company last night (June 26, 2008), in which more than 10m USD was invested. This building will require hiring of over 150 workers.
Manter expressed hope that last night's happening meant that Serbia had decided for integration into European Union and he expressed his belief that the new Government of Serbia would, among the rest, work on improvement of conditions for inflow of foreign capital and that it would be backed by the USA.
The new business building has surface of about 3,500 square meters.
That company is the consulting and engineering leader in field of telecommunications and information technologies on the market of Serbia and in the region. Between 2003 and 2008, it increased the scope of operations by 50% and invested all the money in development.
Projected incomes for year 2008 amount to 70m USD with the profit amounting to 5.5m USD, which will be invested in field of telecommunications for the sake of expansion of operations to complete territory of the Balkans.
The building was opened in the presence of the Executive Manager of "Telekom Srbije", Branko Radujko, and numerous guests.
