The City of Nis has placed an ad for sale of 15 pieces of real estate, among which is an outlet in the city’s center whose starting price is over a million euros, and the public bidding is scheduled for April 25.

The ad for the sale of two buildings, three apartments and ten outlets was placed at the suggestion of Mayor of Nis Darko Bulatovic, and it expires on Thursday, April 20.

Of the ten outlets, nine are located in the main city street, the Obrenoviceva Street, among them the outlet which until recently housed the Higija pharmacy.

The outlet is the most expensive piece of real estate offered by the city. The starting price of its 140 m2 amounts to slightly over a million euros.

Other outlets in the Obrenoviceva Street are sold at the starting price ranging from EUR 112,000 to EUR 247,000, with the exception of a 3-m2 outlet whose starting price is EUR 8,430.

The property being sold includes two family residential buildings at the starting prices of EUR 62,000 and EUR 36,000.

The starting prices of the three apartments, ranging from 25 to 64 square meters, located in the Sremska, Vozda Karadjordja and Branka Krsmanovica Streets, is EUR 18,000, EUR 5,700 and EUR 6,200.

While announcing the sale at a city parliament session, Bulatovic said that many of the outlets were ruined, that the city couldn’t afford to adapt them and that revenues from leasing then over several decades would be equal to the sum that could be earned right away.
