Deadline for procurement of tender documentation for "Genex" expires today - auction on March 31

The deadline for procurement of tender documentation for purchase of the property of "Genex" expires today (March 24, 2008), and the auction for sale of the property is scheduled for March 31st.

According to some earlier announcements of the Ministry of Economy and Regional Development, Mlađan Dinkić, 22 potential buyers are interested in the property of "Genex" in Belgrade, while another five are interested in the property of that company on Kopaonik.

So far, participation in the tender has been announced only by Greek company "Lampsa", which has recently bought hotel "Excelsior", and there are some speculations that most of the other interested buyers are businessmen from the real estate sector (MPC, Filip Zepter, Miroslav Mišković).

At the end of the last year, Privatization Agency announced the tender for sale of hotels and other facilities of former "Genex" on Kopaonik, at the starting price of 45m EUR, and in Belgrade, at the starting price of 85m EUR.
