Construction of Hilton Hotel in Belgrade kicks off April 17

Construction of the luxury hotel Hilton will commence April 17th, when the investor is going to lay the foundation stone at the new building site, the daily Novosti reports.

The new facility of the international hotel chain Hilton Hotels and Resorts, which will occupy a total surface area of 32,418 square meters, including four underground floors, will soon be erected in Belgrade.

Ground leveling at the corner of Kralja Milana Street and Kralja Milutina Street was started few days ago by the City Road Group company. The deadline to finish the work is mid-April which will also see the building site opening ceremony.

- The foundation stone laying ceremony is scheduled for April 17th, and it will be attended by the investor and representatives of the Serbian government and the City of Belgrade - Novosti cites its source as saying.

The first hotel of this franchise in Serbia will feature 250 rooms and suites on eight floors. According to designs prepared by the project bureau ZAPP, entrance to this facility will be at aforementioned corner.

An open-air restaurant is planned to be opened on the hotel roof, and special part of the complex will be an internal green yard of 1,200 square meters that will feature a store.

The deadline to complete all the works and the name of the contractor will be announced after the laying of the foundation stone.
