In Bulevar vojvode Misica 15 street, there used to be a steam mill which was the biggest and most developed mill in Serbia in the period between two world wars. It was set up in 1901, at former Topcider road, called Steam automatic mill of the bread makers’ association for processing and sale of food at the Kingdom of Serbia.

The Old mill building has a specific architecture, adapted to industrial purpose of the facility. The mill itself today is a cultural monument, protected by the state. During the previous decades, the people call it the the Old mill, and old Belgrade citizens called this part "at the Old mill".

New Mill

A part of the "Old mill" complex is a business building "New Mill", located next to the Radisson Blu Old Mill hotel. Together, these two buildings make a unique unit of historical and modern design.
