Belgian Embassy Provides Lab Freezer to KBC Dragisa Misovic

The Embassy of Belgium in Belgrade has joined the B92 Fund in its efforts to help the healthcare sector, which is on the frontline in the fight against coronavirus.

A total of RSD 400,000 was collected by the Embassy and the Defense department, as a contribution of the Belgian embassy for the purchase of a special laboratory refrigerator which is used for the storage of blood and blood plasma at temperatures below -80 degrees Celsius, which will considerably facilitate the operations and the functioning of the covid hospital KBC Dr Dragisa Misovic – Dedinje.

The freezer was donated in the presence of Belgian Ambassador Adam Konrad and the president of the Management Board of the B92 Fund, Veran Matic. They were welcomed by the director of the hospital, professor Vladimir Djukic, and Dr Djordje Lalosevic, with whom they discussed the current epidemiological situation.
