The Protocol on Strategic Cooperation between Airport Nikola Tesla Belgrade and UNICEF in Serbia, signed by UNICEF Representative, Michel Saint-Lot, and Executive Director of Nikola Tesla Airport Belgrade, Rasa Ristivojevic, will help children in Serbia get the best conditions for growth and development from early childhood, UNICEF says in its press release.

All citizens traveling and staying at the airport, as well as numerous tourists visiting Belgrade, have the opportunity now to support the programs implemented by UNICEF in Serbia with their donations. The programs aim to ensure optimal development of children in early childhood, quality education for every child, adequate social protection, and inclusion of marginalized children and adolescents.

– UNICEF has a rich tradition of cooperation with airline industry and airports around the world. I am very much pleased that we have started the cooperation with Nikola Tesla Airport in Serbia and that we will jointly, thanks to the solidarity of the passengers passing through this airport, contribute to ensuring that children in Serbia get adequate care and protection from the earliest age, are educated and raised in a family environment – said Michel Saint-Lot, UNICEF Representative in Serbia.

– As a socially responsible company, Nikola Tesla Airport is always ready to respond to calls for assistance, especially when it comes to the youngest members of our society. We thank UNICEF for initiating this cooperation. We believe that special attention should be paid to children and young people. We have provided different contents for the youngest travelers to make their time at the Airport more pleasant, such as individual rooms for parents with children, comfort zones, playrooms, etc. – Rasa Ristivojevic, Executive Director of Nikola Tesla Airport, stated.

– Nikola Tesla Airport, apart from its everyday activities, also cares about a positive impact on environment through cooperation with local communities and the society as a whole – Ristivojevic added.
