The audit and consulting company EY celebrated two decades of activities in Serbia at a cocktail ceremony on September 28, 2017. The celebration of the great anniversary involved the donation to NURDOR, an organization for parents of children suffering from cancer, with which EY has contributed to the construction of a hematology and oncology center for children in Nis.

EY celebrated the anniversary at the Promenada club in Belgrade among 300 of its closest associates in the local market. The global operations of EY, with a total of 250 thousand employees, are given a contribution by the Serbian office as well, with its 200 employees.

– I am extremely proud that I have the opportunity to stand before my associates tonight, shoulder to shoulder with the colleagues who have been trying for 20 years now to make a contribution with their work to building a better business environment in our country. In the year of our anniversary, I am happy to say that, with the donation to NURDOR, we will contribute to the construction of the hematology and oncology center for children in Nis, thereby contributing to the quality of the treatment of children in our country – stated Ivan Rakic, EY ‎Country Managing Partner for Serbia, Montenegro and Bosnia & Herzegovina.

Joland Korora, president of the NURDOR, stated that they were honored by the new friendship with a big and strong company, a world leader in its field.

– We are very touched and grateful to EY for deciding to mark their 20th anniversary with an important humanitarian support to our association and our project of the construction of a hematology and oncology center for children suffering from cancer in Nis. Large projects such as this one need big friends like EY so that we could all soon be proud of the results – Korora said.
