Giovanni Daniele is the Resident Representative of the International Finance Corporation (IFC) in Belgrade, Serbia. IFC is the private sector investment arm of the World Bank Group. Prior to his current assignment, Giovanni was based in Washington DC, where from 2002 - 2006 he was the head of the Tourism Sector Team with responsibility to identify and develop new investment opportunities in the tourism sector. At the IFC, he has also spent considerable time evaluating, structuring and executing investments in the Sub-Saharan Africa region, where he focused on the general manufacturing and services sectors in Southeast Africa. Prior to that, Giovanni was based in Poland where he worked as Project Coordinator for the Polish Business Advisory Services, an IFC-sponsored consulting program for the Polish SMC sector. Before joining IFC, he worked in Italy in the construction material sector.


Giovanni, an ltalian national, is a Chartered Financial Analyst, holds and MBA from the SDA Bocconi in Milan and graduated with a degree in law from the University of Milan.
