Neven Marinović, executive director of Smart Kolektiv, - serbian leader in Corporate Social Responsibility and social communications
Neven Marinovic is executive director of Smart Kolektiv, a leading organization in Serbia in the field of Corporate Social Responsibility and social communications. Together with the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and Fund for an Open Society, Smart Kolektiv launched Responsible Business Initiative Program in 2004 as a strategic and national platform for the development of CSR in Serbia, which managed to involve a large number of relevant actors in its activities, and contributed to the promotion and the development of the CSR concept in the country. Neven held numerous trainings and presentations in country and abroad for different audiences in the fields of CSR and Social Marketing. Previous to the founding of Smart Kolektiv, he has worked in advertising, and as an associate of some of the leading Serbian NGOs. He gained formal education at the department for production and cultural management at the Faculty of Drama Arts at the University of Arts, Belgrade, and informal education thru numerous trainings and study visits that took place throughout Europe and USA. Mr. Marinovic participates in the work of some other institutions through different forms of engagement such as: member of the national Council for Sustainable Development, member of the executive board, Yustat, Center for Cultural Mediation, member of the Governing Board, NALED (National Alliance for Local Economic Development) etc.
