Vucic: Agreement on the construction of the first section of Belgrade-Nis fast railway by the end of September
– We will do so, I hope, in the presence of the highest European officials. Before the end of September, I’d say on September 29 or 30, I expect the agreement to be signed on the first section of the Belgrade-Nis fast railway, where trains will run at 160 to 200 kilometers per hour. With all the stops, a trip between Belgrade and Nis will take two and a half hours, and maybe even less. It will be a better option than taking a car from the Belgrade center to the Nis center – the president told TV Belami from Nis.
Vucic said that the final crossties on the Belgrade-Novi Sad fast railway, near Sremski Karlovci, would be laid down by the end of October or November, and be followed by the works on the signalization.
