"Cuprom" is not owner of RTB "Bor" until it pays 400m USD – deadline is beginning of July
- The sales contract, signed between the Government of Serbia and company "Cuprom", has not been put in effect yet - Dejan Rajković, Assistant to the Minister of Energy, pointed out.
Namely, once it pays 400m USD, that Romanian company will be able to take over Mining Smelting Basin "Bor". The whole amount money must be paid prior to the beginning of July. If the Romanians do not fulfill their obligation before the deadline, the chance will be given to the second-ranked bidder, which is "East point" and "Orn Investment".
According to the words of Dejan Rajković, "Cuprom" would, in that case, stay without 3m USD of deposit it gave to the State.
