Starting from April 15, the airplanes of Turkish company “Atlas Jet” will be flying three times a week from airport "Konstantin Veliki" in Niš to Istanbul. One-way airline ticket with airport taxes costs 125 EUR, while the return ticket costs 180 EUR.

The Manager of Niš-based airport, Radisav Radojković, said that the departures from Niš will be on Tuesdays at 22.30h, Thursdays at 23.30h and Sundays at 20.20h. The departures from Istanbul will be on Tuesdays at 20.30h, Thursdays at 21.30h and Sundays at 18.20h. The flight with new Canadian “CRJ” airplanes with 90 seats will last for 80 minutes.

The flights are organized by Turkish travel agency "STT travel" and the tickets can be bought in Niš starting from Monday, April 2nd.

- We expect much from this business and we estimate that we could have between 12,000 and 15,000 passengers by the end of the year. For the airport in Niš, Istanbul is one of the five most interesting destinations – said Radojković.
