Construction of corridor between Serbia and Italy to start in maximum two years - Cooperation agreements signed between two countries
A cooperation agreement between the Serbian Chamber of Commerce and the Italian Industrials' Association Finest was signed by the presidents of these organizations, Zeljko Sertic and Mauro Del Savio, respectively.
An agreement on cooperation in the field of transportation was signed by Giusepe Bortolusi, a representative of the Koridori Italija-Srbija consortium, Goran Aleksic, the director of the Srbijatransport AD company, and Svetozar Milanovic, the director of Belgrade-based Zeleznicki integralni transport. An agreement on scientific and technological cooperation between the two countries was signed by the president of Area Science Park, Adriano De Mayo, and the state secretary of the Serbian Education Ministry, Aleksandar Belic.
Debora Serracchiani, the president of the Italian region of Friuli-Venezia Giulia assessed that the signed agreements were very important for that Italian region and overall relations between Italy and Serbia, stressing that Italy was Serbia's most important trade partner.
The agreement signing ceremony was also attended by Italian Ambassador to Belgrade Giusepe Manzo.
