Marijana Radovanovic is appointed as the new acting director of the Privatization Agency. This decision was made by the Government of the Republic of Serbia on Saturday, 28 June 2014.

Marijana Radovanovic, a long-time worker of the Privatization Agency, has so far worked in the position of Executive Director of the Privatization Agency and, before that, as the director of the Privatization Center.

The main objective of the new management of the Privatization Agency is to successfully implement the new Privatization Law that is expected to be adopted by August 2014, the Privatization Agency said in a release. Economy Minister Dusan Vujovic said before that the former acting director, Vida Uzelac, had submitted a request for retirement.

Vujovic then announced that the Government would first appoint a new acting director.

Since the establishment of the Privatization Agency in 2001, Ms. Radovanovic is its ninth director.
