SCC signs cooperation memorandum with World Trade Center in Mumbai

The Serbian Chamber of Commerce (SCC) and the World Trade Center from Mumbai, India have signed a Memorandum of Understanding for a long-term business cooperation with the aim of ensuring support to the improvement of economic relations between the two countries and the establishment of firmer ties and contacts between Indian and Serbian businessmen.

The MoU was signed between SCC Vice President Vidosava Dzagic and WTC Mumbai Vice President Somesh Batra in the presence of Indian Ambassador to Belgrade Narinder Chauhan.

It was pointed out in the talks between the SCC representative and the vice president of WTC Mumbai that there was a significant potential for more intensive cooperation between Serbia and India, the SCC announced in a release.

There are great cooperation opportunities in the field of infrastructure, energy, agriculture and food industry, ICT sector, pharmacy and biotechnology, automotive and military industry, and health tourism, said Dzagic.

The World Trade Center in Mumbai was established with the aim of promoting and improving India's trade with the rest of the world, with the support of the Indian government, the Maharashtra government and the private sector.

WTC Mumbai is also a member of the Association of World Trade Centers that is headquartered in New York and is made up of 342 world trade centers from 92 countries.
