Government of Japan donated 70,000 EUR to University Pediatrics Clinic for procurement of medical equipment
The Government of Japan has provided non-refundable aid in amount of 71,370 EUR for the University Pediatrics Clinic as a support to the improvement of medical care system in Serbia.
Japanese Embassy announced that that donation would provide funds for purchase of equipment for monitoring of vital functions of the patients (eight monitors for precise monitoring of artery and vein pressures and two bronchoscopes), which will improve the medical care of the patients in the Intensive Care Ward and the Ward for Lung Diseases.
The donation will be handed over tomorrow (January 31, 2007) in the University Pediatrics Clinic in Tiršova Street. This ceremony will take place in the presence of the Ambassador of Japan, Tadashi Nagai, the ASsistant to the Minister of Health, Goran Ilić, and the ASsistant to the Mayor of Belgrade Radmila Hrustanović.
