Jomil builds stadium in Angola - Company from Cacak also wins contracts to overhaul military equipment and maintain aircraft
Cekovic says that it took about 12 months to finish the work on that ambassadorial residence, adding that the Jomil group currently has several contracts signed with that, as he points out, friendly country.
- About 100 workers of Jomil are working in Angola, maintaining tanks, aircraft and helicopters, and the cooperation between Serbia and this country dates back a long time - he said in a statement to Tanjug news agency.
According to Cekovic, this company has already inked contracts to build a football stadium with a capacity of 25,000 and several repair facilities and barracks in Angola as well as to overhaul military equipment.
Cekovic voiced his expectation that aforementioned business arrangements in Angola would engage another 100 workers by the year's end.
He reminded that Serbian First Deputy Prime Minister Aleksandar Vucic had visited Angola in 2013 to sign contracts with the officials of that country on the construction of roads and hospitals.
Jomil was established in 2000. The Jomil group is comprised of seven associated companies employing 200 people at the moment, 100 of whom are currently working on projects in Angola.
