Negotiations with Romanian "Cuprom" to be continued on January 29
The negotiations with the first-ranked bidder, Romanian "Cuprom", on procurement of Mining Smeltery Basin "Bor" will be continued on Monday (January 29, 2007).
The President of Trade Union "Nezavisnost" in Mining Smeltery Basin (RTB) "Bor", Rudolf Navijalić, stated that, according to the information that Union has, "Cuprom" gave up request for changing of the sales contract.
- The offer of "Cuprom" for investments in amount of 102m USD is quite unrealistic concerning the fact that they did not have enough time to get the real picture of where and what should be invested - Navijalić pointed out and added that there were indications that "Cuprum" was ready to increase the amount planned for investments by up to 200m USD.
He said that the trade unions would negotiate with "Cuprom" about social program and that "starting negotiating position" would be the request that the amount of severance pays be 500 EUR per year of work. Most Important News
