Serbia is one step away from getting an opportunity to use EU funds for agriculture and rural development, totaling EUR 11 million annually in the first phase, Serbian Chief EU Negotiator Tanja Miscevic said Monday. Miscevic explained that Serbia was one step away from getting accreditation for grants directly intended for assistance and incentives for agricultural production. - The first phase is just a warm-up, so grants should be much bigger and more significant later on - Miscevic told the press shortly before the start of the conference "Agrarian Policy of Serbia" that is organized by the magazine NIN.
