NIS to have Novi Sad Oil Refinery renovated in 2014

The Petroleum Industry of Serbia will this year continue to develop its large long-term projects such as the modernization of Novi Sad Oil refinery, investment in the depth of processing at Pancevo Oil Refinery and cogeneration heat and power (CHP) plants, NIS General Manager Kirill Kravchenko told a press conference at which NIS presented its 2013 business results.

– The process of selecting a partner for the thermal power station and heating plant in Pancevo will start this spring, and we will soon get the first results of geological research in the region - Romania, Hungary, Bosnia-Herzegovina. Also, the plan for this year is to continue to increase exports and expand the regional network of gas stations which is currently made up of 30 filling stations in Bulgaria, 14 in Romania and 36 in Bosnia -Herzegovina.
