Serbia's flag carrier Air Serbia operated the first direct flight from Belgrade to Tel Aviv on Sunday, December 15th, using the new aircraft Airbus A319.

Among the passengers on this promo flight to Tel Aviv were Serbian Parliament Speaker Nebojsa Stefanovic, Minister of Regional Development and Local Self-Government Igor Mirovic, Israeli Ambassador to Serbia Josef Levy, and Air Serbia General Manager Dane Kondic.

Instead of two weekly flights via Larnaka, Air Serbia will operate direct flights four times a week from Nikola Tesla Airport in Belgrade to Ben Gurion Airport in Tel Aviv.

Flights to Tel Aviv will be operated on Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Sunday, and this service will ensure connections to important destinations, such as Paris, Amsterdam, Brussels, Moscow, Copenhagen, Zurich, Vienna, Berlin...

The promo price of tickets for these flights starts from EUR 260, whereas the regular price is from EUR 320.
