ATB Sever expands business - Subotica-based power generator and engine manufacturer announces new projects in Russia
Vasic, who was named CEO in June, told Suboticke Novine that the company would focus on power generators and hydroelectric power stations, engines and components for the ATB Group (Intercompany product portfolio) in the future, as well as engines for steam power plants, nuclear sector, cement plants and oil platforms.
ATB Sever is part of the ATB Group that is majority-owned by China's Wolung.
As Vasic explained, the company in Subotica today employs a total of 380 people.
When it comes to their target markets, Vasic said that the plan was to build hydroelectric power stations mainly in Serbia.
- ATB Sever is the only company in Serbia and the region to produce power generators and hydroelectric power stations and to have knowledgeable and experienced staff - Vasic stressed.
He also explained that the company exported products to Russia as well as components for oil platforms through a distributor.
