The Karićs to rent horse farm "Ljubičevo" and to have sports center built
The oldest horse farm in Serbia, "Ljubičevo", legacy of Miloš Obrenović from 1853, and Public Company "Ljubičevo" have over 650 ha of land, 40 thoroughbred galloping horses of English breed and – loss of 105 million CSD and blocked account. According to the Law in SCG, the State cannot sell memorials and legacies, but there is possibility of rental on 5, 49 and 99 years. It is most likely that the members of one of the richest families in Serbia, the Karić family, will rent the aforementioned horse farm.
When political party of Bogoljub Karić, the Power of Serbia Movement (PSS), started its pre-election campaign in Požarevac, it decided for construction of tourist -sports complex in Horse farm "Ljubičevo". Back in 1998, "BK group" was financing implementation of complete project for tourist-recreation center "Ljubičevo" with lots of luxurious contents, which would be offered to the diplomatic corps of Serbia, the representatives of foreign companies and other VIP clients.
