Best energy-efficiency solutions for industry and building design - German companies seek business partners in Serbia
German companies, which offer a variety of advanced solutions for boosting energy efficiency in the industry and building design, are looking for prospective partners in our country.
Representatives of eight German companies - Addinol Lube Oil, Limon, PEWO Energietechnik, Helios Ventilatoren, Doepke Schaltengerate, Theben, Walther-Werke, and FTG Friedrich Goehringer Elektrotechnik, have been traveling across Serbia over the last few days in a search for potential partners.
Torsten Gusek, consultant to the Export Initiative for Energy Efficiency of the German Ministry of Economy and Technology, told Tanjug news agency on that occasion that energy efficiency was one of the most important topics in his country, adding that Serbia could learn a lot from Germany. He noted that a knowledge transfer and joint operations of Serbian and German companies represented the best ways for Serbia to adopt advanced solutions and boost the industry's efficiency.
Representatives of these German companies told Tanjug that they had a great offer for Serbian companies, stressing they expected to start or expand their business in our country.
Gunar Halm, sales manager at the Theben company, pointed out that energy efficiency significantly cut the costs of operations in the industry.
- We are interested in a partnership with Serbian companies, which is why we've come to your country, where we want to do our business - he added.
German companies participated in the International Conference on Energy Efficiency in Industry, which was organized by the German Business Delegation to Serbia on May 28th in Belgrade.
It was underlined on that occasion that Serbia should modernize its industry as soon as possible, considering that it was one of the largest energy wasters in Europe. For decades Germany has been one of the most important and greatest business partners of Serbia with the value of trade between these two countries standing at approximately EUR 2.5 million a year.
