Austrian investor invests in Serbian patent - Quattro Houses finds partner to open factory near Stara Pazova

The factory for producing prefabricated building elements Quattro Paneli will be opened by the year's end in Golubinci near Stara Pazova. It will directly employ 200 people and call for the employment of another 1,000 workers in partner companies.

Although it attracted a great interest of the local public after its world premiere, the potential of innovative Q system was first recognized by an investor from Austria, which will start building the Quattro Paneli factory in Golubinci in cooperation with Belgrade-based Quattro Houses this July .

The entire factory will be built using these panels and the Q system of construction, which was put to test early this year, when this technology was used for the first time in Serbia, and proved to be worthy of an award it won in 2010 for the best energy-efficient construction project in Europe.

Thermal cameras have showed that the use of this technology cuts energy consumption by up to 80 percent. Thanks to this system, the first Quattro house, built in Grocka, will also have 50 percent better sound insulation as well as high resistance to earthquakes and fires.

This system makes it possible to build energy-efficient facilities at exceptionally affordable prices and in a record short time, so that a new house can be built in only 30 days, costing only EUR 500 per square meter.
