Polish concern "KGHM Polish copper" interested in privatization of Mining-Smeltery Basin "Bor"
- Polish concern "KGHM Polish copper" is interested in privatization of Mining-Smeltery Basin "Bor" and Polish experts will visit "Bor" and Serbian Privatization Agency the next week - the Head of the Concern Kšištof Skura confirmed.
Polish colossus from Lublin is the sixth biggest copper manufacturer in the world with share of 3.4% on the world market and one of the biggest Polish exporters, concerning the fact that only one third of the production stays in the country.
The price of at least 227m EUR expected by Serbian Government is very attractive to the Polls and "KGHM" meets the tender requirements concerning two years of experience in field of metallurgy and the turnover of at least 40m USD.
The final decision whether it will take part in the tender and with what kind of offer will be made by the end of September.
