Milan Parivodić – Izraelians are buying a part of Oil Refineries of Serbia, investments around 1.5 milliard EUR

Israel’s oil industry and mining company Bejtmen is ready to invest 600 million USD in refineries in Novi Sad and Pančevo and in Petrohemija and with that become a co owner of our refineries, says Milan Parivodić, minister for International Economic Relations, summing up the results of his previous visit to Israel together with the delegation of experts from other ministries and business men.

Bejtmenis interested in concessions of gold and copper mine on Crni vrh. Company Afrika-Israel, which is already constructing a business object of 120 million EUR in Belgrade, wants to, using the concessions, build roads. Preliminary talks have been done with multinational companies such as Rad, a high tech company, and with Alvarion which already has business deals with Telecom. One company from Israel is to build a hotel with six flours above and three underground in Rajić street, but certain archeological problems exist. It is estimated that Israel companies could invest around 1.5 milliard EUR in Serbia since they have invested over 800 million EUR in neighboring countries.
