Ryanair to fly from Montenegro as well starting June
The Irish low-cost airline Ryanair will start operating flights to Montenegro in June 2012, Assistant Minister of Tourism Nebojsa Popovic announced Thursday.
The Montenegrin government has considered that, and a four-year agreement is expected to be signed soon.
Destinations are yet to be agreed upon, which is, as the assistant minister of tourism explained, entirely within the company's discretion.
As Popovic said after a session of the government, Ryanair will operate flights to Montenegro every year in the period March-October, except this year, when the first flight to Montenegro is expected in June.
Popovic said that Ryanair was expected to offer service from Montenegro to Brussels, London and Milan in 2012, adding that the number of destinations would later be increased to six.
The price of tickets will range between 15 and 20 euros.
