Israelis to build highways and real estates in Serbia ?
Milan Parivodić, Minister of International Economic Relations, said that the potential of Israeli investments in Serbia's economy exceeds 1.5 billion USD. Five meetings was held with the representatives of big multinationals, such as Rad group, which deals with high technology, Alvarion company, Africa - Israel, as well as company Bejtman, the giant in field of petroleum industry and mining.
Parivodić announced signing of the agreement on repealing of the double taxation. Also, the Parliament of Israel should soon verify the document on stimulation of investments of Israeli businessmen in Serbia.
Branimir Uljdur, assistant to the Minister of Capital Investments, said that the Ministry had offered the project for construction of Corridor 10 - from Horgoš via Belgrade to Požega, and later via Montenegro to Italy - to the companies from Israel. The value of this project is over €637m. Construction of road E 80, from Niš to Bulgarian border - the project worth over €540m was also offered, but the attention of Israeli businessmen was directed, first of all, to the construction of apartment and office space, so that the location of Old Fairground in Block 18 was offered to them, as well as marina on the Danube.
