German Companies in Serbia Employ More Than 70,000 People – Most Would Decide to Invest Again in Our Country
– German companies have come to our country, those factories employ our workers and engineers. Today, our trade amounts to EUR 8.3 billion – Vucic said at the first gala dinner of the German-Serbian Chamber of Commerce (AHK Serbia) in Hotel Hilton in Belgrade.
As the Novosti daily reports, Vucic said that 100,000 people in Serbia were expected to find jobs in German companies and added that it was important for the cooperation with German companies to continue.
This business organization has more than 400 members, and German companies employ more than 70,000 people in Serbia, Novosti writes.
The head of AHK Serbia, Milan Grujic, said at the gala dinner that Germany was the biggest individual investor in Serbia.
According to him, the majority of the surveyed companies would decide to invest in Serbia again.
– The trade exchange keeps growing and growing – Grujic said.
As announced earlier, the aim of this event is to continue successfully developing and boosting the economic cooperation of the two countries.
