Tender for Construction of Belgrade-Nis Fast Railroad Announced
The minister also announced a tender for the selection of the contractor and invited Turkish companies to take part, as reported on the government’s website.
Vesic also said that the entire project of the construction of the Morava Corridor would be completed by mid-2025 and specified that the first section, from Pojate to Makresane, would be completed by spring, the one from Kotroman near Krusevac in September, and the Kraljevo-Cacak section by mid-2024.
Ambassador Aksoy emphasized that over 1,000 Turkish workers had been hired to build the Morava Corridor and added that he was satisfied that the works went as planned and that Turkish companies still wanted to invest in Serbia.
Vesic also estimated that the works on the Kuzmin-Sremska Raca were progressing well and that the designing of the road from Pozega to Kotroman, whose construction also interested Turkish companies, had been completed.
