Bogicevic - Businessman of the Decade, MK Group - Company of the Decade

The Club of Business Journalists of Serbia today declared Miroslav Bogicevic, the President of Sabac-based Farmakom MB Concern, as the Businessman of the Decade, while Miodrag Kostic's MK Group was declared the Company of the Decade.
The award for the Banker of the Decade went to Director of Banca Intesa in Serbia Draginja Djuric, Srbijagas CEO Dusan Bajatovic won the award for the Best Business Vision, the award for the Best Businessman went to Interkomerc CEO Goran Percevic, while Minister of Defense Dragan Sutanovac won the award for the military industry's export.
Director Emir Kusturica won the award for the Creator of the Decade.
Mr. Bogicevic said to the press that the state should provide a financial support to the processing industry in order to increase the employment rate.
He called the export of secondary raw materials in Serbia the biggest crime in Serbia's economy and concluded that it should be forbidden.
- The state should finance programmes aimed at production of secondary raw materials. That is one of the ways to employ the existing capacities- said Mr. Bogicevi.
Miodrag Kostic, of which company was declared the Company of the Decade, said to the press that MK Group had come out of the crisis and that it constantly worked on reduction of the unemployment rate in Serbia by hiring new workers, young people in particular.
Milorad Dodik, the President of the Republic of Srpska (RS), won the special award for strengthening economic relations between Serbia and RS. He said on that occasion that he would be working on making Serbia and RS a unique economic, cultural and commercial area in the future.Most Important News
