Another Russian IT Giant Announces Opening of Development Center – Yandex to Employ Over 800 Engineers in Serbia
At the meeting between the prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, and the delegation of Yandex, led by the head of the Department for International Policy, Maxim Kozlov, it was agreed to continue discussions and improve cooperation in the field of education, considering that this company, in addition to creating software, additionally worked in the field of IT education.
Brnabic stated that the government was open to cooperation and ready to provide help and support to global IT companies that opened research centers in Serbia and employed IT experts from all over the world.
– After the opening of the development center and representative office of the global company Luxoft, the announcement of the opening of Yandex’s development center and the employment of international IT experts is a strong support for our economic growth and the creation of additional value – the prime minister underlined.
