Modification of Boeing 767 from Passenger into Cargo Program to be Done at Facilities of JAT Tehnika in Belgrade

Avia Prime Group, in cooperation with Israel Aerospace Industries, has commenced the works on the modification of the Boeing 767-200/300 type from the passenger program into the cargo program, which will be done at the facilities of JAT Tehnika in Belgrade, according to the press release from the company.

As announced, over EUR 5 million has been invested so far in the expansion of production capacities, employee training and procurement of new mechanization. In this period, JAT Tehnika has employed over 100 new experts who will boost the existing team and exchange experiences on this unique project in our country and the region.


JAT Tehnika has thereby joined a small group of prestigious European companies which perform major modifications on Boeing 767 planes. The entire conversion process is done in Belgrade, on two production lines within Hangar 2, on over 9,000 m2.

The leading European group for aircraft repair, Avia Prime, consists of JAT Tehnika in Serbia, Linetech in Poland and Adria Tehnika in Slovenia.
