Antic: Construction of Fruska Gora Corridor Intensified, Two Key Structures Being Built
On Tuesday, Antic and the minister of construction, transport and infrastructure of Serbia, Tomislav Momirovic, visited the works on the assembling of the auxiliary bridge, which will aid the works on the construction of the main bridge on the Danube.
– The Fruska Gora Corridor is one of the key development projects for our country and we are currently on one of the two bridges that we are building in the territory of the city of Novi Sad and it is precisely the construction of this bridge, as well as the construction of the Bypass Route Around Novi Sad, that will change the perspective and make this city more modern and powerful – stated Minister Momirovic.
At a length of 48 km, the Fruska Gora Corridor will connect Novi Sad, Irig and Ruma and continue down the Ruma-Sabac highway. The route of the corridor is split into four sections, namely: section 1 (Zezelj Bridge – E-75 interchange – Paragovo), section 2 (Paragovo – beginning of Ruma Bypass Route), section 3 (Kac interchange – E-75 interchange) and section 4 (beginning of Ruma Bypass Route – E-70 interchange), as announced by the Ministry of Construction, Transport and Infrastructure.
