Brnabic with World Bank Country Director: Framework for Cooperation Until 2026 Presented

The prime minister of Serbia, Ana Brnabic, said today in a conversation with the World Bank country director for the Western Balkans, Xiaoqing Yu, that the priorities of the new government were investments in infrastructure and the Green Agenda, with the aim of developing the productivity of the economy and innovations. Among other important activities are the continuation of the development of artificial intelligence, where we already have cooperation with the World Bank, as well as biotechnology, the prime minister said.

According to the website of the Government of Serbia, a new cooperation framework until 2026 and the plans for budget support for this and next year were presented.


– Serbia is the regional leader in many areas, first and foremost in IT sector and investments, and we will maintain that continuity – Brnabic said.

Xiaoqing Yu added that the largest program in the Western Balkans had been agreed with Belgrade.
