Geological Explorations for Line 1 of Belgrade Subway – Experts Supervision Over Preparation of Study Needed

The PUE Beogradski metro i voz has published the tender for the services of expert supervision over the preparation of a study of geological explorations for the TBM (Tunnel Boring Machine) section from the Pancevo Bridge station (excluding) to the end of the first phase of Line 1.

According to the tendering documentation, this pertains to an expert-technical supervision over the execution of terrain exploratory works, engineering-geology works and laboratory testing of said section for the purpose of the preparation of the Preliminary Project of the first phase of Line 1 of the Belgrade Subway.

The expert supervision encompassed by the tender pertains to terrain exploration works, which entail: the preparation of exploratory boreholes, the mapping of the bored cores, the obtaining of main and spare samples, the execution of in-situ tests envisaged by the Project of Geological Explorations. The supervision also entails the preparation of exploratory excavation sites, the mapping of ground layers, the obtaining of main and spare samples, the monitoring of ground waters, the geodetic surveying of the exploratory works.

The laboratory testing encompassed by the expert supervision tender entail: the handing over of main and spare samples, the testing of the samples of rocks, ground, water and the control and listing of the laboratory results.

The deadline for participation in the tender is September 16.
