The tender for the preparation of technical documentation for the construction of the Skadarlija Market, also known as the Bajloni Market, has been halted.

The City of Belgrade has stopped the procurement due to the “redistribution of activities” with the PUE Beogradski metro i voz.

– As part of the obligations taken pertaining to the preparation of the urban-technical documentation, the company Beogradski metro i voz will prepare the Urban Project which will define the scope of the subway station. After the Urban Project is confirmed, the adopted decision which will define the mutual relation of the two purposes will be submitted to the Secretariat for Investments. The scope defined that way will be the starting point for the continuation of the initiated activities toward the preparation of project documentation – says the decision signed by Luka Petrovic, the secretary of the Secretariat for Investments.

Let us remind that, nearly 13 years from the survey contest for the Skadarlija Market, the City of Belgrade published the tender for the preparation of full technical documentation worth RSD 37 million. According to the project, the market should have several levels, from an underground garage and supply section, to a partially canopied square.
